Do Now: 
1. Hydrogen is an explosive gas, and oxygen needs to be present for things to burn. How is it possible, then, for water, which is a COMPOUND composed of hydrogen and oxygen, to PUT OUT fires? 
2. Pick up a "Combining Elements" page from the front counter. 
3. Take out your "Cookie Crumbles/Bubbles" packet from last night to be checked.
